21 Days to make or break a habit. What changes would you make?
If you follow my Facebook Page you will have seen the odd post here and there, about a free promo I am running at the beginning of February. (When school goes back and many of us have normal routine again!!) The 21 Day Habit Changer.
This isn’t about New Years Resolutions, as such, it just seems a good time to start it, and if we work together, maybe we will keep those habits going!!! It will also be run at other times throughout 2017.
It takes 21 days to make or break a habit. I am 100% sure you could meet anyone in the street and there will be something they want or need to change in their life. I’m not talking losing weight here. I know that is a goal for many of us (yep, me too, if I’m honest), but isn’t the changes you make to lose that weight more important?

Maybe a habit you need to change is…..
- Exercise for 30 minutes every day
- Drink 2l water every day
- Remember to stop at work for your breaks
- Prioritise family over work/family/phone/xbox
- Positive self talk
- Go to bed earlier
- Get up earlier to make the most of your day
- A little ME time, every day
- Saying NO to the kids without feeling bad
- Create a routine and stick to it
There’s so many! It really is up to you and what you want to get out of it.
But I want to help. So I am setting up a group on Facebook, where we can all get together and help each other make and break these habits. I know what some of mine are:
- 10,000 steps a day. Currently, I meet that about 3-4 days a week.
- In bed before 11.30pm. That may sound late to a lot of you, but for us, that’s early, and something I need to change.
- Finishing the project I am on, before starting the next!! This won’t be a daily habit to change, but one I can still work on.
