Home / Exercise / Making Changes We Can Live With

When you make changes to your life, they need to be changes that you can live with forever, right?

It’s all very well to think about the changes we want to make in an ideal world. But are those changes realistic? Will you stick with them forever?

If you’re setting out to change your life, you need to make sure you’re making changes you can stick to for the rest of your life.
Otherwise, what’s the point?

A very short and sweet email this time.
This is all I really want to talk about. Make it simple, make it something you can do forever.

Don’t see yourself cutting out icecream forever? Then why not just have LESS icecream?
If you hugely deprive yourself of something you love, it’s not going to last. If you cut your caloric intake far too low, in search of that quick loss, yeah, you’ll lose weight, but what happens when you raise your calories again? So why not reduce them enough to make a difference, move more, and not have to be miserable and hangry?

That’s it. Told you it was short at sweet this time.

Make changes you can live with long term. Then they will work.
