Losing weight isn’t easy. I guess it isn’t meant to be. If it was, everyone would be fit, healthy, love themselves and their bodies, no internal battles over food, no demons to fight. Sounds like a good way to be, really. 
But it’s not that easy, is it? I’ve made huge progress since last year, in the mind battle department. Trying to teach myself to chill the fu*k out and not worry about every little thing. Not beat myself up when I eat something “naughty.” To train myself to actually enjoy getting off my ass and moving more.
Doesn’t mean it is easy. Maybe a little easier, but one rough day and I slip back into making shitty choices and hating myself for it, then have to fight to get back on track and not stay in the loop of making bad choices and feeling bad so making more bad choices.

How do you beat it?
Baby steps. That’s the best advice I can give. Little by little, work on moving a little more. Work on making food choices that fuel your body, that make you feel good AFTER eating, not food that temporarily fixes an emotional problem then makes you feel like crap after. Slowly it gets easier. There are still always going to be bad days, I’m just aiming for less bad days, and more days of awesomeness.
